Take Interstate 93 South out of Boston to Route 24
South. In Fall River, exit onto Rte. 195 West for one
exit, then return to Route 24 South. After you enter
Rhode Island, exit on Route 138 South (Newport &
Beaches). Continue on 138 South to 138A, (Aquidneck
Avenue). Follow 138A past Easton's Beach into Memorial
Blvd. At the first set of lights, turn left onto
Bellevue Avenue for app. 1 mile then turn right onto
Ruggles Avenue. Follow Ruggles into Wickham. Continue on
Wickham past Rogers High School. At stop sign at the
bottom of the hill, turn left onto Brenton Road. Stay to
the right of the fork. Straight at stop sign onto
Harrison Avenue. Just after Fort Adams State Park, turn
right onto Ridge Road and continue. OceanCliff Hotel
will be on the right.
From NY, NJ, Connecticut, and Points South:
Take Interstate 95 North to Route 138 East (Exit 3A
in RI). Follow 138E over Jamestown and Newport Bridges
($2.00 toll). Take first exit off Newport Bridge (Scenic
Newport), and turn right at the end of the ramp. At 2nd
light, take a right onto America's Cup Avenue. At the
7th light, take a right onto Thames Street. Follow
Thames Street and take a right onto Wellington Avenue
(Shell Gas Station on left). Continue on Wellington into
Halidon. At the next stop sign, turn right onto Harrison
Avenue. At the first stop sign, turn right. Just after
Fort Adams State. Park, veer right onto Ridge Road and
continue. OceanCliff Hotel will be on the right.
From Providence/Warwick:
Take 1-95 South. Take exit for Route 4 to Route 1
then to Route 138 East. Continue over Jamestown Bridge
and the Newport Bridge ($2.00 toll). Take first exit off
Newport Bridge (Scenic Newport), and turn right at the
end of the ramp. At 2nd light, take a right onto
America's Cup Avenue. At the 6th light, take a right
onto Thames Street. Follow Thames, to Wellington Avenue
and take a right (Opposite the Shell Gas Station).
Wellington turns into Halidon. At the next stop sign,
turn right onto Harrison Avenue. At the first stop sign,
turn right. Just after Fort Adams State Park, turn right
onto Ridge Road and continue. OceanCliff Hotel will be
on the right.
Directions to Rosecliff
From Boston:
Follow 128 South (this is also I-95 South) past
the exit where I-95 splits off. At this point, 128
becomes 93 North.
Continue to the exit for Route 24 (Fall River).
Follow Route 24 to Route 114 South.
Stay on Route 114 South for about 5.5 miles through
Portsmouth and into Middletown.
At the intersection of Route 214 (just past Dunkin
Donuts, Modern Furniture Galleries is on the corner),
turn left at the traffic light onto Route 214, which is
Valley Road.
Follow 214 about 2.2 miles to the beach area (passing
through 3 stoplights), bear right past the beach area
and continue up to the top of the hill (you are on
Memorial Boulevard-a four lane divided road).
At the four-way intersection, turn left onto Bellevue
Avenue. Proceed south along Bellevue, and follow the
signs for the mansions. You will know when you are in
the mansion area. Parking for Rosecliff will be at
nearby Chateau-sur-Mer mansion, where transportation
will be provided to Rosecliff. Chateau-sur-Mer will be
on the left-hand side of Bellevue Avenue.
From Providence:
Follow 195 east to Route 24 (Fall River) to Route
114 South.
Stay on Route 114 South for about 5.5 miles through

Follow I-95 North to Rhode Island Exit #3. This
will bring you to Route 138.
Follow signs for the Newport Bridge, (which is a $2.00
toll bridge). Cross the bridge.
Take the scenic Newport exit off the Newport bridge.
At the bottom of the ramp turn right. Proceed through
one stoplight.
At the second stoplight turn right. This is America's
Cup Avenue.
On America's Cup Avenue, proceed through 6 stoplights.
At the 7th stoplight bear left up the hill. Continue
past one more stoplight.
At the next stoplight intersection, at the top of the
hill, turn right onto Bellevue Avenue. Proceed south
along Bellevue, and follow the signs for the mansions.
You will know when you are in the mansion area.
Parking for Rosecliff will be at nearby Chateau-sur-Mer
mansion, where transportation will be provided to
Rosecliff. Chateau-sur-Mer will be on the left-hand side
of Bellevue Avenue.
